Graphic designer & Courage Maker
Since the beginning of the pandemic, graphic designer Sarah Gilgien has drawn herself into the collective memory of many people and Stuttgarter:innen with a crying rainbow.
Her rainbow with the message „Everything will be fine“ went viral on social media during the first lockdown and has since become her absolute heart’s project.
In her hometown of Stuttgart, her rainbow became a symbol of solidarity, community and connectedness through the #wirsind0711 initiative, which was created in response to the lateral thinking demonstrations in the spring of 2021. She received the Ideenstark award from the state of Baden-Württemberg for her project „Kleiner Regenbogen“.
Sarah has been working as a freelance graphic designer since 2011 and is the founder of the label „Kleine Papeterie“. Making other people happy is her greatest happiness and she works both digital and analog. With pen and paper, Mac and mouse, heart and mind.
